This striped soft toy is reminiscent of Elmer, but is from the Miffy studio and is just called Elephant. It is made from blue and white stripe fabric which has also been used by the same company to cover a Miffy toy. The eyes are made of stitched black thread.

Dutch author, artist and illustrator Dick Bruna’s iconic little bunny character, Miffy, needs very little introduction. First drawn in 1955, Miffy has appeared in over 30 books and appeals to children all over the globe. Uncomplicated and positive in attitude, Miffy’s adventurous spirit is infectious – for children and adults alike. Her original name is derived from a Dutch word which means ‘little bunny’ but, as its very difficult to pronounce, she became ‘Miffy’ to her international audience.
